Ceramic sculpture art that that sheds light on history, winks at modernism, does not break away from the contemporary age, and kneaded with time and patience.


An art club where techniques such as powder pastel, oil pastel, watercolour, charcoal drawing and oil painting, as well as window art are included. We carry our abilities from charcoal drawing to oil painting in a way that will reflect the three dimensions.


With different methods such as games, improvisation and pantomime, children learn to express themselves and they gain skills such as healthy communication, group cohesiveness, being a participatory individual within the group, expressing their emotions and thoughts.


By participating in the theatre stage, children learn to use their bodies, the world and people's relationship with the world, communication, working in groups and taking responsibility by undertaking active role within a group.


Chess is a club course that helps students understand the importance of planning and being tactful; think rapidly and make the right decisions; have the right approach to events happening around them, and it supports and improves students' character development.


The aim of this course is to help 7th grade students conduct research about the near history and culture of Bursa and the surrounding regions and help them gain this awareness. Our course entails research, visiting and photographing places, and using the material to prepare presentations.


We continue to honour our traditions and heritage by encouraging our students to participate in folk dances and carry our heritage to the current day. Our students will stage folk dances belonging to 7 different regions of Anatolia in accordance with the stage discipline of folk dances. At the end of this program, students will take part in events such as "Şahinkaya Art is Everywhere, Şahinkaya Year-End and World Dance Day". Let's stage and enrich our folk dances with modern steps, which are the unique cultural heritage of Anatolia. Let's represent our school in domestic and international shows.


Students will be able to enjoy the fun side of dance and sport while conveying the special energy on stage by putting together choreography and musical show in accordance with the stage discipline. Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance-sports program emerged in the 1990s by dancer and choreographer Alberto ''Beto'' Perez in Colombia and is the most common dance sports program in the world. Students perform early sports with dancing and enjoy the most fun side of sports. You can feel the specially prepared choreography and steps at each level of Şahinkaya where the energy level is at its peak.


The swimming program at Şahinkaya starts at the age of 4 and involves water games. In today's world, swimming is considered a compulsory social skill and it is an important part of the sports program as a branch that can be safely carried out from small age groups throughout their lives. Swimming training, which is a mandatory part of the program in kindergarten and primary education, continues in the clubs and swimming team for students who are interested in swimming.

Şahinkaya students apply the theories that they learn in class by enacting the rules themselves. In the small age group, children who store the scientific laws in their visual memory prepare to make a difference in the field of science in the future.


Recognizing and experiencing different culinary cultures and practicing different cuisines.


In order to help our students learn by experience in Science lessons, education continues in STEM laboratories and Science Museums. In these courses, experiments and observations of the subjects covered in the classroom are carried out so that our students can reinforce the subjects they have learned, increase their cause-effect relationship forming skills as well as their analytical thinking performance. Domestic and international trips are organised so that students who are interested in science and creativity can improve their STEM-A and creativity skills and participate in relevant activities.


A traditionally-organised in our school, "Science Festival" allows students to showcase the projects they have prepared using their creativity and deliver presentations, which are then evaluated.


Children who acquire coding training gain skills such as critical thinking, patience, problem-solving, courage to try new things, mathematics and making meaningful connections. We aim to open our students' horizons by introducing them to different coding tools every year and to raise our students' awareness in the fields of coding and programming. We attach great importance to coding in fully-equipped laboratories so that we can help our students gain 21st-century skills.


Students participating in international tournaments such as FIRST LEGO League (FLL), have a process-focused and unique experience in terms of science, arts, technology issues, as well as self-expression, listening, presentation, sharing and teamwork.


Students learn to use applications that you can use on your smartphones and tablets for your mBots supported by Arduino, Bluetooth and mBlock, which is a Scratch platform that enables you to program mBot easily. Our students push the boundaries of creativity by providing extra modules as well as basic sensors.


Having gained mental skills such as research, creativity and problem solving starting from pre-school education, our students carry out project studies with the support of our Science Council. Gained the foundation for authentic and critical thinking at a very early age, our students grow up with a solution-oriented mentality, actively participate in the learning process and consequently carry out individual and team activities thanks to project-based learning method.


Latest research shows that thanks to the use of 3D education, students' interest in the lesson as well as their concentration can be greatly increased and students can follow the lesson with great interest. The use of 3D education especially in Science subjects help students better understand the subjects covered in class.
